108. French bread pizza

Not your traditional red-sauce pizza, these pizzas have ham, Gruyere (or Swiss) and thyme on top of a honey mustard sauce. Pop them in the oven on a yummy slice of French bread, and you have a pretty good meal.

I served these with a salad and honey mustard dressing – the same salad in the recipe.

59. spinach and feta pita bake

We love these quick little pizzas.

They are quick, easy and healthy. Even BP’s 15-year-old nephew loves these.

BP and I were extra excited to make these for lunch today because we were using spinach from our very own garden. (Yes, this is the first time we’ve grown a garden at our house!)

On the down side, I did forgo the feta on my serving. There are a lot of “warning foods” for pregnant ladies, and feta is one of them. I’m not so sure I completely agree with the warnings, but I’d rather play it safe. So, BP got double feta on his, and he was more than happy about it!

43. Chicago-style pan pizza

If you enjoy thick-crust pizza, you will enjoy this pizza.

I’ve made this pizza a couple of times before, and BP requested I make it again this week. In the past, I’ve always used store-bought pizza dough. This time, however, I decided to make my own. I used the recipe referenced above, and although it says it makes two crusts, I used the whole ball so that it would be extra thick.

It turned out great! I think I probably will make up a batch and freeze the dough so that it’s handy next time I’m feeling like pizza night.

BP and I love cheese and pizza. This had both.

Even my brother liked it. After BP and I were done eating, Little Brother came over and ate the rest – the entire other half of the pizza.
