33. garlic-herb braid

Beautiful and delicious was this bread. Seriously. I could have eaten the entire loaf all by myself. Good thing I had some help from friends.

Basil, dill weed, garlic and rosemary were all baked into this braid, and when it came out of the oven, it was all scrumptiously golden brown. After I brushed it with a little bit of melted butter, it was even better.

This was my first attempt ever at baking yeast bread, and it definitely was a success. It also was my first opportunity to use the dough hook on my KitchenAid stand mixer (Christmas gift from my dad – love it!).
